HONOR X9e Pro Is Coming. Bigger Battery, Tougher Build and Better Water Resistance

After teasing it on social media, HONOR finally gave us an early look at the X9e Pro during Malaysia’s National Day parade. And honestly, the new look is pretty eye-catching. It comes in a bold purple finish with light gold accents around the frame and camera, giving the phone a more premium feel while keeping things fresh for the X Series.

This is the first Pro model in the X Series, with the “e” standing for EXTREME. And from what HONOR has teased so far, the phone is all about three things.

• EXTREME Massive Battery Capacity
For me, the battery is probably one of the most exciting things about the X9e Pro. HONOR is teasing a massive battery that could be one of the biggest in the industry. The exact capacity is still a mystery, but if it delivers as promised, this could be the kind of phone where I can get through the whole day without constantly worrying about the charger.

• EXTREME Armor-Tough Drop Resistance
durability is another area that makes the X9e Pro interesting. HONOR is taking the toughness of its X Series a step further, so it should be better prepared for accidental drops, bumps and the usual everyday knocks.

• EXTREME Ultra-Tough Water Resistance
Another thing is the improved water resistance. It’s the kind of feature you might not think about every day, but it’s definitely reassuring to know the phone can handle a bit of rain or accidental spills without me having to panic.

I’m quite curious to see how these upgrades perform in real-world use. HONOR hasn’t revealed everything yet, so we’ll have to wait a little longer for the full details and official launch.
