iPhone Duo Pre-Orders Are Open! Apple’s First Foldable iPhone Is Turning Heads

Apple fans, the wait is finally over!
The iPhone Duo is now available for pre-order in Malaysia, bringing Apple’s first-ever foldable iPhone to the local market. And honestly, this is one iPhone launch that feels genuinely different.

The biggest attraction? A phone that folds into a compact device but opens up into a massive screen. The iPhone Duo features a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch folding display, giving you more room to binge-watch videos, scroll through socials and get things done without carrying a tablet around. But wait, there’s more!

What Makes the iPhone Duo Special?

A big screen without the tablet-sized hassle. The foldable display is the main star here, especially for anyone who loves multitasking. With Split View, you can run two apps side by side, perfect for replying to messages while browsing or watching videos while getting other things done.

48MP cameras for your content game. The iPhone Duo packs dual 48MP Fusion cameras, including a Main and an Ultra Wide camera. It also introduces features like Duo Preview and Smart Take, making it easier to capture photos without always being stuck behind the camera.

Slim, premium and built to last. When unfolded, Apple says the iPhone Duo is its thinnest iPhone ever. It features a titanium frame, Ceramic Shield protection and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. So, this isn’t just about looking futuristic, durability matters too.

Power that keeps up with you. Powered by the A20 Pro chip and a dual-battery system, the iPhone Duo is designed for smooth performance and all-day use. Apple claims up to 31 hours of video playback using the inner display, or up to 44 hours using the outer screen.

Available in Star White and Night Sky, the iPhone Duo opened for pre-orders on 16 October at 8pm MYT, with official availability starting on 23 October 2026. From RM9499, The iPhone Duo is certainly not an everyday budget upgrade, but its foldable design brings a whole new experience to the iPhone lineup. If you’ve been waiting for Apple to try something different, this could be the device that gets your attention.
