HONOR Redefines the National Day Experience with Robotics: Meet HONOR’s humanoid robots in action at the Malaysia Marathon 2026 and National Day Parade.
HONOR is taking robotics out of the lab and putting them right in the spotlight this National Day. Its self-developed humanoid robots, HONOR Robotics A1 and D1, will make their international debut at the Malaysia Marathon 2026 on 30 August, before appearing at the National Day Parade in Putrajaya on 31 August.

What makes this especially interesting is that Malaysia is the first country outside China to see these robots in action. D1 is already coming off a win at the 2nd Beijing E-Town Humanoid Robot Half-Marathon in April, where it showed that its mobility and endurance can go beyond controlled laboratory conditions. This is more than just a robot showcase. It’s a glimpse at how quickly humanoid robotics is moving from concept to real-world applications. And with HONOR bringing its latest innovation to Malaysia, it’s clear the country is becoming an important stage for the brand’s next-generation technology.
Malaysians can catch HONOR’s A1 and D1 humanoid robots in action at the Malaysia Marathon 2026. The D1 will take on the 10KM route, starting from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur at 12AM, putting its speed, stability and ability to navigate different terrain to the test. Meanwhile, the A1 will join runners in the 5KM category, starting from KLCC at 7:30 AM alongside Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. For runners, it’s not every day you get to race alongside a humanoid robot.
Meet HONOR’s Robots From 29–30 August 2026, tech fans can get up close with HONOR’s A1 and D1 humanoid robots at the KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur booths and lucky visitors can get up close and take photos alongside them. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Visitors can also try out interactive challenges featuring HONOR’s latest devices:

After making their mark at the Malaysia Marathon, HONOR’s humanoid robots A1 and D1 will take centre stage at Dataran Putrajaya on 31 August 2026, joining the National Day Parade. This marks a major milestone for HONOR as its first-ever parade participation and makes it the first smartphone brand to join Malaysia’s biggest National Day celebration. Visitors at the HONOR booth can get up close with both robots, snap photos and take part in interactive activities featuring HONOR’s latest devices.
As Malaysia celebrates its 69th National Day, HONOR is bringing technology closer to Malaysians and showing how intelligent devices and robotics can become part of our everyday future.
