With Merdeka just around the corner, vivo Malaysia is marking the nation’s 69th Independence Day by launching its “Shoot Beyond What You See” nationwide photography challenge, running from 3 to 31 August 2026.

The contest encourages Malaysians to rediscover iconic national landmarks from fresh, distant perspectives using their smartphones or by powering up their shots with the vivo X300 Ultra and the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra. With extreme focal range capabilities, the setup lets creators pull far-off landmarks like Merdeka 118, or even a combined frame of the PETRONAS Twin Towers and Genting Highlands, straight into focus.

1. Shoot: Capture a famous Malaysian landmark from a unique distance or perspective.
2. Share: Post your shot on social media.
